Hector Lester and Allan Simonsen competed in the first round of the new European GT3  race series. They opened with a spectacular first in race one and second in race two. Their new Ferrari 430 immediately proving a shrewd investment as it out performed the other cars, on a damp track. The new car carried UCB-TV and Christians in Motorsport branding.

The event was televised on Motors TV, with the branding clearly visible.
